We are currently seeking to add to our impressive group of talented associates. We have positions available at our Mill located in Canton, NC. Established in 1908, the Canton Mill rests in a valley in the Western part of the state, about 18 miles past Asheville toward the Tennessee state line, where the state angles down to a thin wedge on the map. The primary duties of this job are to support area electrical maintenance, implement projects, and drive E/I reliability. Keep updated programs on file for all plc controls and programs. Work with other electrical and mechanical project engineers on capital projects. Fill in as E/I Supervisor during his absence. Assist Electricians in drive and control trouble shooting. Gauge reliability measures and implement changes as needed.
o Manage, direct, and/or co-ordinate all electrical and instrument projects with in area.
o Keep up to date records on all plc programs in the area of responsibility
o Co-ordinate maintenance outages and project implementation. Responsible for all
transformer and switch gear maintenance in area.
o Order parts for contractors when working on cost plus jobs.
o Provide technical assistance as needed.
o Responsible for timekeeping, vacation scheduling, and other duties as assigned when the
supervisor is not there.
o Work with the E&I supervisor to ensure all hourly E&I employees are trained and
knowledgeable and adhere to mill safety policies and regulations.
o Responsible for effective employee relations and provide coaching and training for the E&I
hourly employees when filling in for the supervisor
o Stay current with new drive and control technologies through self-study, hands on, and
o Understand industry standard practices concerning reliability techniques
o Manage the PdMa, Hot Spot, and ultrasonic programs
o Have strong trouble shooting skills
o Ability to train others
Special Knowledge Skills:
oBS degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
o5-7 years of relevant experience.
oMinimum of 5 years of experience, Heavy Industry a plus.
oLeadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
oSupervisory skills
oAbility to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.
oStrong interpersonal and communication skills.
oAbility to manage multiple priorities.
oStrong team player
oKnowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of product
oKnowledge of business and management principles
oBasic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, specifically SAP
oFairly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
oMust have above average troubleshooting skills
oNeed to be willing to document all aspects of daily operation.
oWorking knowledge of batch digesters, brownstock washing, bleach plant operations and chlorine dioxide generation

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
